How care starts

From first call to an agreed plan.

The early steps should give the person and family enough information to decide whether Tulip is suitable.

Care professional and family discussing a plan together
  1. Share your contact details

Use the form or WhatsApp to ask for a conversation. The web form does not ask for health or care details.

  2. Have an initial call

A coordinator listens, explains the available service and checks whether an assessment would be appropriate.

  3. Arrange an assessment

The discussion covers the person's routines, preferences, abilities, home context, family involvement and relevant risks.

  4. Agree the care arrangement

Proposed tasks, timing, responsibilities, communication and fees should be made clear before support starts.

  5. Consider the care worker match

Suitability depends on the support required, availability and how the person prefers to communicate and receive help.

  6. Review what is working

Questions or changes should lead to a conversation, and the plan should be reviewed where needed.
