Privacy policy
Your contact information should be handled with care.
This policy explains how the Tulip HomeCare & Support website handles contact information. It supports compliance with Nigerian data-protection law but does not, by itself, guarantee compliance across the company.
1. Who is responsible
Tulip HomeCare & Support, RC 3600668, based at 10 Irewole Street, Opebi, Lagos, Nigeria, is the data controller for enquiries made through this website.
2. Information we collect
The contact form asks for your full name, preferred contact method, the email address or phone number needed for that method, and confirmation that you have read this policy. It deliberately does not ask for a diagnosis, medical history, care needs, urgency, location or free-text health details.
The selected hosting provider may also process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser information, date and time, for security and delivery. Tulip reviews these logs and settings whenever the hosting arrangement changes.
3. Why we use it
We use contact details to respond to an enquiry, arrange a requested conversation, keep a proportionate record of the request and protect the website from misuse. The principal lawful bases are taking steps at your request before a possible service agreement and Tulip's legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, maintaining necessary business records and preventing misuse, where those interests do not override your rights.
The form checkbox confirms that you have read this policy; it is not used as consent for unrelated marketing. If Tulip later asks for consent for a separate purpose, you may withdraw that consent for future use without making earlier lawful processing unlawful.
5. Retention and security
Contact information is kept only for as long as needed to respond, maintain necessary business records and meet legal obligations. Retention is determined by the time needed to answer the enquiry, manage any resulting service relationship, meet legal duties and resolve a complaint or dispute.
Tulip applies reasonable organisational and technical safeguards to access, devices, email, form submissions, staff confidentiality, backups, incident handling and secure disposal. No website or email service can promise absolute security.
6. Your rights
Subject to the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and applicable limits, you may ask to be informed about processing, access your information, correct inaccurate data, request deletion or restriction, object to certain processing, receive portable data where applicable and withdraw consent. You also have rights concerning significant automated decisions; this website does not make such decisions.
We may need to verify identity before acting on a request. Tulip records how privacy requests are received, assessed and answered.
7. Children and family enquiries
The public form is for adults. A parent, guardian or lawful representative may make contact about a child, but detailed information moves to an appropriate private process. Relatives contacting Tulip about another adult are asked to respect that person's privacy, choices and authority.
8. Cookies and links
This launch version has no analytics or advertising trackers. Read the cookie policy for the essential-only approach. Links to other services have their own privacy practices.
9. Privacy contact and complaints
Email hello@tuliphomecare.co.uk with the subject “Privacy request”. This is Tulip's current privacy contact.
If a concern is not resolved, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. See the official Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 information. You may also read the NDP Act General Application and Implementation Directive 2025.
10. Changes
Material changes are dated, versioned and explained. A current copy remains available on the website.
